Hôtel Saint Martin Bastille

The location is quiet and well connected, with a metro stop just a few minutes away. The room was clean and quiet, though very small. I’d recommend the entry-level rooms for solo visits. One towel still had stains, so they need to check the towels. That was my only negative.

I felt so sad leaving Hôtel Saint Martin Bastille after staying for over a week. Feeling safe and having a clean room mattered most to me, and the hotel delivered. I slept well every night in a comfortable bed, with the room temperature always just right. I felt genuinely safe during my time in Paris. The maids were amazing and kept everything spotless, and the doormen were kind, professional, and welcoming. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, though it might have been my phone, so I can’t fully blame the hotel. There’s no free breakfast, but that didn’t bother me. Thanks for making my stay feel calm, clean, and secure. That’s all I want in a hotel, and I hope I can come back soon. — Emily 💙

We had a lovely five-night stay and hope to return. The reception staff were unfailingly polite and helpful throughout. Our Comfort room was very clean when we arrived, and the bed was comfortable. Street noise was almost nonexistent with the windows shut, though it got fairly noisy with them open, which is to be expected. Breakfast had a good range, from tasty scrambled or hard-boiled eggs to fresh fruit, cereals, and yoghurts, with a great choice of coffee and tea. The bread and pastries from nearby Maison Landemaine boulangerie were amazingly good. We loved everything about this charming hotel.

Oberkampf is packed with restaurants, bars, bistros, and epiceries, right on the edge of the Marais. The location was amazing, and the staff were lovely and helpful, even funny. The room, bathroom, and reception were spotlessly clean, with simple but stylish decor. I had a brilliant long weekend and will stay here again next time I’m in Paris!
