Hotel Terminus Orleans

We stayed four nights and were really glad we chose this hotel. It’s easy to get around, with a subway entrance right beside the building and an elevator inside. The location is nice, the cleaning service was good, and the staff were friendly.

The people were nice, but I wouldn’t stay again. My first room had no working plugs, so I couldn’t charge my phone. After I reported it, they moved me. Then, just as I was about to shower, I realized there was no shampoo. Since I was already in the shower and it was late, I had to wash my hair with the hand soap. Sound carries between rooms too. My neighbors talked until 5 a.m., and when they finally stopped, I could hear their 9 a.m. alarm as if it were in my room. I’ve paid less for hotels and had a better stay.

For a lower price, this is a nice enough place to stay. The room is tiny, basically just a room with an attached toilet, and there’s little outside ventilation. The toilet door doesn’t lock. There is an elevator, but it’s cramped, with very little room for four people. It’s easy to reach the nearby metro, and there are cafes, a bakery, and a supermarket close by.

The breakfast was basic and, to me, not worth paying for. Also, the rule that you have to leave your room card at reception every time you go out seemed strange, to put it mildly. The big plus is the location, just 50 metres from the metro.
