Hôtel Tilde

My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and reception was friendly. I booked a small double overlooking the street. You can feel vibrations from the train, which I think starts around 5:30-6am, but it didn’t bother me. I use a white noise machine and it never woke me. As a solo woman, I felt safe in the area, though I may have a higher tolerance than some reviewers because I’m from a large Canadian city. There’s a hair dryer and Nespresso machine, but no mini fridge or USB charging ports, so bring a regular wall charger. I didn’t try the breakfast and would book again.

The rooms are small but welcoming and made me feel at home. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the metro exit. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and ready to take care of even the smallest request.

The receptionists were kind and helpful, and the room was comfortable, with the basic things covered, including towels, soap, and breakfast. It’s in a convenient spot near bus stops and a metro station. I recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and even found gluten-free bread for my breakfast. The place feels warm, comfy, and fun, nothing like the dull grey corporate feel of a chain hotel.
