Huni Hotel

Getting around was easy from this spot, with good connections to every part of the city. My single room worked well for one person, and it was clean, tidy, and had good amenities. The hospitality was great. I loved my stay.

The staff were consistently attentive, and our room was clean and decent, though the bathroom was a little small. The hotel is well placed, less than three minutes from the metro and buses. Still, I didn't feel the area was safe. We heard from our bedroom window as some suspicious boys ran out carrying things, and the entrance was always open with reception very exposed. It seemed like anyone could claim to be a guest and get into the rooms.

We stayed three nights with my parents, and the hotel suited our budget and what we wanted from a Paris stay. There are two metro stations nearby, plus plenty of places to eat, bars, and bakeries. Our room was clean, a decent size, and had good facilities. The staff were kind and friendly, and helped us get a taxi after other drivers kept cancelling. I'd recommend it.

The room was the only part that was even remotely acceptable, and it still hadn't been cleaned properly. The main issue was management. The person at reception was rude, unhelpful, and sometimes aggressive, shouting at us for basic questions and treating us like a nuisance when we asked for information. We weren't told about the city tax until checkout. The amount may be small, but keeping it undisclosed feels shady and unprofessional. When a friend urgently needed a bathroom, staff said guests weren't allowed and told her she could “wait in reception”. There was no empathy at all. I understand this is a budget hotel, but poor service can ruin the whole stay. Respect doesn't cost anything. We stayed four nights in a double room in July 2025. I'd advise spending a little more elsewhere. This place isn't worth the stress.
