The room was good, and so were the reception staff. Breakfast service was another story. We got there at 9:20, before the 10am weekday cutoff, but the staff member with her hair covered wouldn’t refill the food or replace the empty fruit. She wasn’t smiling or welcoming, which was a big difference from the long-haired staff member who’d been working breakfast over the previous two days. That person was lovely, hardworking, and friendly.

For its price, I was surprised by how comfortable the whole stay felt. The room, breakfast, staff, location, and general atmosphere at Ibys were all really good. I’d like to come back someday and would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel comfortable without spending a fortune on a hotel.

We found the room quiet, and I was pleasantly surprised it had air conditioning. It’s small, but functional. The hotel is in sector 15, about a 30-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and two minutes from the metro. Breakfast was included and great, with fresh squeezed OJ, espresso, and other coffee choices. The staff were wonderful, especially Guntthier. He took time to point out places to see around Paris, explain how to get there, and warn us about pickpockets. A wonderful gentleman. Five stars.

Valerie and Marina made the whole visit feel like being looked after by two close friends. Whenever I needed help or suggestions, they went out of their way to make my Paris trip better and make sure I was comfortable. I’d come back to Paris just to be in their kind, caring hands. They made my stay amazing, and I’m so grateful. The hotel itself is cute and centrally located, with clean, stylish lobby touches: three kinds of complimentary water and a selection of teas. They offer a mini breakfast with fresh orange juice and great coffee. It felt like a great place for couples or solo travelers like me. Book while these ladies are on duty and you’ll have an especially lovely stay.

A lovely place to stay, though breakfast could be better. Customers should also get more information about special events, including where they’re happening and how to get there.
