Les Jardins Du Luxembourg Hotel

The rooms were spacious by Paris hotel standards, clean, and had a great bathroom with excellent shower pressure. The front desk staff were fantastic and arranged transport whenever we needed it. We had our 8 year old with us and would definitely stay again.

This felt like a recently renovated hotel and it was very, very clean, with lots of lights and outlets, nice TVs, and a handy little kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Our first floor suite fit two adults and three kids, with a separate bed for each child and 1.5 bathrooms. The staff were kind and extremely accommodating, and we'd recommend the place. The family says they'd return. The location is excellent, close to so much. We did hear some street noise on the first floor, so a light sleeper should keep that in mind. It felt a bit expensive for what you get. In the half bath there was no hook or place to put a towel, and the shower wall in the full bath was odd, so water got across the whole floor.

As a solo woman traveling, I felt safe the whole time. The staff, location, clean rooms, and recommendations were all great. It was my first Paris trip and I loved this hotel. Sad to be heading out, but I'm looking forward to coming back. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I liked the friendly, helpful staff and the tasteful renovation, and my room had a mini fridge and microwave, which isn't typical for Paris. The internet was extremely fast, with readings up to 700 Mbps. The hotel is on a quiet cul-de-sac near the Luxembourg Gardens, a great location if that's the part of town you want. Even the largest room in the hotel is quite small, and I couldn't find a way to stop the shower from flooding the bathroom floor. Breakfast costs extra. That's manageable if you're happy to go to one of the neighborhood boulangeries or pâtisseries, but for a hot breakfast you need to pay €16 and reserve the night before. There are a few English-language TV channels, but not many. You'll probably spend most of your time out and about.
