Korner Montparnasse had a family-like atmosphere, and I had a pleasant stay. The employees were polite and the service was great. It was nice talking with a receptionist about recommended monuments. The location is excellent, close to Pasteur metro station, several good small restaurants, and a shop to the right of the main entrance. The rooms were pretty small, though. We didn’t have tables or closets, at least in our room, so I’d suggest not bringing large or multiple bags. There was a shelf where I could keep some things. The rooms also don’t have cups or a teapot for making tea or hot water, so I had to go downstairs. I recommend the hotel to visitors who plan to spend most of their time walking around Paris. I sincerely hope the hotel keeps achieving new heights, and merci for your service.

Clare at the front desk made check-in and checkout easy with her friendly manner and clear communication. She was always available, worked hard to keep everything running smoothly, and accommodated a few personal requests. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Korner Montparnasse. Its location is a calm retreat, far enough from the busy heart of Paris to be peaceful, while still giving easy access to the main tourist sites. Breakfast was simple, classic, and satisfying, just right before a day of sightseeing. I’d definitely recommend it as a quiet base with attentive staff and convenient access to the city’s highlights.

The woman at the “front desk” was nice, but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The online pictures are totally misleading, and they don’t say online that there’s no air conditioning, so beware. The shower was so small I could barely turn around, with no bathroom outlet or room to put anything. Showering left the floor wet. The hallways were so narrow they felt claustrophobic. There was no fridge, and ants crawled on the floor. This should be a one-star hotel, not three. I’m never coming back.

The elevator was broken from the moment we arrived, and the room was tiny, 2x3.5m, nothing like the photos. In the cramped bathroom, I could barely close the door without hitting the toilet. During a summer heatwave, with 36°C outside, the hotel had shut off air conditioning throughout the entire building because of “flood risk.” Breakfast was extremely basic: bread, ham, cheese, and an egg. The staff tried their best, but there wasn’t much they could do. Shockingly poor management. Never coming back.

Michael at reception deserves a special mention. He was exceptionally polite and helpful, and really stood out during my stay. The room was clean, though very small, and the single beds were narrow. I liked the cozy attic feel and neighborhood view from the top floor. The hotel is in a charming area with lots of cafés and places to eat, and the metro is only a five-minute walk away.
