I liked the location, the staff, the bed, the kettle and the safe. But in all my international work travel, I haven’t stayed in a room this poorly laid out. Mine was a single, which may explain why other room types got better reviews. There was barely anywhere to put things, and I had to move the chair to get into the closet. The gap between the sink and radiator was so tight I had to turn sideways to use the sink or enter the bathroom. The decorative pillows hadn’t been washed, and shouldn’t have been left on the clean pillowcases. There was no mini fridge, and noise inside the hotel meant earplugs were useful.

Clean and comfortable, with easy access to restaurants nearby and quick transfers to the tourist sights. Hotel Fior d’Aliza is such a cute, cozy boutique place to rest during a Paris trip. I’d recommend it.

We spent four nights here and would happily come back. The room was spotless and so comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. Lorenzo was especially kind and helpful the whole time. Breakfast was a 10/10. Montmatre is about a 10-minute walk away, and the Marais about 30 minutes on foot. Metro stations, a pharmacy, supermarkets, good restaurants and other things you might need are close by too.

The room was small, but clean and quiet. The toilet and safe weren’t working properly, though, and one daytime desk clerk seemed a bit sullen. Lorenzo was fantastic. I wish he’d been working Thursday through Saturday. What an exceptional person.
