Our five-night stay during a longer Paris trip turned into a nightmare. We arrived at 1 PM and were told the room wasn't ready, so we had to come back at 4 PM. A late check-in time is understandable, but what happened next wasn't acceptable. The elevator was broken when we returned, and our room was on the European 3rd floor, four flights up. Reception promised several times that it would be fixed, but nothing was ever done. My husband has bad knees, and repeatedly climbing the stairs left him in serious pain that was still bothering him nearly a month later. After all those promises, it felt like they had lied to us. The room was in terrible shape. The couch was filthy and dingy, like it hadn't been cleaned in years, and the dishwasher didn't work. Neither the in-room phone nor the front desk phone worked. We got just one bottle of water at check-in and were told we had to refill it ourselves. That meant going up and down the stairs again and again. I didn't know I was signing up for an airbnb property. I thought this was a hotel! Housekeeping was abysmal. The bathroom wasn't cleaned each day, hair was left on the floor, and towels weren't replaced even when we left them on the floor. They made the beds, but cleanliness clearly wasn't a priority. Why bother making the bed when I already make it after I get up? The room safe was locked when we arrived. We reported everything right away, yet not a single problem was addressed during our stay. The only bright spot was that the front desk staff were polite and courteous, and helped with our luggage. I felt bad seeing them carry everyone's bags up and down all those stairs. Everything else was a disaster, and management failed at every turn. At checkout we were promised compensation for these “inconveniences,” but neither management nor the corporate office ever followed up. This wasn't just a bad stay, it was an ordeal. I'd give zero stars if I could. Avoid this property at all costs. Sonder’s management is incompetent, and its promises mean nothing. I'll never stay at another Sonder property.

My wife and I spent a week in a small room that had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. We only ate breakfast twice, but the young gentleman who prepared it was a wonderful cook. The hotel is in what may be the quietest, most laid-back neighborhood in Paris, and every front desk worker was kind and helpful. We'll most certainly be back next time we visit.

We found this property at the last minute after a minor issue at our original hotel, Maison Elle Paris, and it exceeded what we expected. The room was remarkably spacious for Paris, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel sits in a charming neighborhood with cafés, restaurants, and patisseries. You can walk to the city center in a pleasant 25 minutes, or get there quickly and affordably by public transport or a ride service like Bolt. A delightful location, comfortable stay, and excellent service make this a highly recommended choice for Paris.

We've just started our stay and are loving France 🇫🇷 ❤️ ♥️. The King suite is great, with lots of in-room amenities: a coffee maker, mini fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and stove top. It's really quiet, check-in was great, and the grocery store is a five-minute walk away.

The location is excellent and the room was comfortable, but the early check-in was a mess. I requested it after a long flight, and it was confirmed in February for our July stay. When we arrived, they said it wasn't possible and wouldn't honor the request, even though the app showed a 2 pm arrival instead of 4 pm. I was still charged for early check-in, and no one has replied to my multiple messages through the app. The refrigerator was broken and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, even after we had to wait for our room. If you're looking for real customer service, this isn't the place.
