Getting around was easy, with several stations and bus stops a short walk away and most attractions about 20-30 minutes away. Francoise and her family made us feel very welcome, and we had most of the space to ourselves. The room was a good size. The bath and WC were separate from it, but that wasn’t a problem. There was also a tiny kitchenette with a kettle and refrigerator, handy for making hot milk on cold nights.

The room was nice and the location was great, though it got a bit hot at night during the summer without air conditioning. Breakfast felt too basic for what we paid. I would’ve given it five stars, but the price was too high: about $650 US for three nights in July 2022.

The hosts were warm and friendly, and we’d happily stay again. It’s a comfortable neighborhood, with great restaurants just a short walk away. Our bedroom was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The place has a modern feel with charming details, including dried flowers on the bannisters, a balcony overlooking a vertical garden in the backyard, and a colorful shower filled with sunlight.
