Hotel Villa Boheme

The room was small, though not the smallest I've stayed in, and it was very clean. I loved having a balcony. The location is wonderful, near the metro and lots of good places to eat. Staff were lovely and especially helpful when I arrived feeling unwell.

The breakfast was limited, low quality and not worth the price. A bakery around the corner would be fresher and tastier. Some cheese, eggs and bread had dried out or run out, and when we asked for more, the answer was simply "non". Our room was small but clean, except for dirty cups on the sink. Staff seemed particularly uninterested. At check-in they appeared unaware we'd already paid for our reservation, and answers to questions made us feel stupid. Smoking and chatting outside with the door open, letting the breakfast room lose its warmth, seemed to matter more than looking after guests. One older man, who I assume was "Mohand", was friendly and helpful. The stay was just "ok". There are better hotels in this price range, so we wouldn't recommend it or book again.

The rooms were bright and clean, looking out onto a private road, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a private street, well placed for walking to Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur, with convenient bus stops nearby. No complaints at all.

A lovely little hotel. Our adorable room was cleaned beautifully every day. We could walk to loads of cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as the opera and moulin rouge, and quick train rides got us everywhere else we wanted to go.
