Le Daum

The area was very nice, with lots of bakeries and restaurants and the Metro close by. Daytime staff were very friendly, and they were able to accommodate our requests. The rooms are incredibly small, but modern and charming, with great amenities. My only complaint was the lack of attentive staff late at night. If the hotel advertises 24/7 service, it feels awkward to wake up the person who's there. Still, I'd highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Paris.

The receptionist was very kind and friendly, and tried hard to help us in English. The hotel is close to a railway station but far from the airport. Our room was extremely small, with no place to put luggage and barely enough room to move around. There was no lift service, so we had to climb to the 2nd floor carrying our bags. If you use a walking aid, as my husband does, this place is a no go.

The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and welcoming, and I had a very good stay for one night at Hôtel Le Daum. Service was excellent, especially from the night staff member, a Colombian woman who was efficient and very kind. It got a little noisy at times, but that didn't take away from the comfort. A charming place with warm service. I'd happily return.

Those reception croissants were a nice little extra, much like the Bodum kettle in the room. I travel a few times a month and haven’t had service this thoughtful in ages. The staff were friendly and helpful, often offering what I needed before I even asked. The room and hotel have a minimal style, but everything was there. The shower pressure and temperature were just right, and the lighting was well judged without being too bright. The air conditioning worked properly and was easy to adjust, which I appreciated after dealing with systems that make rooms too cold. I’ve had a better stay here than at plenty of four- and five-star hotels, so I’d definitely come back.
