Le Grey Hotel

The neighborhood was a big part of what we liked: quiet and safe, with plenty of great food around and not overly touristy. There’s even a boulangerie next door for lovely pastries and coffee. The hotel itself was modern and clean, and we loved it.

On Sept. 25 at around 7:50 a.m., an older man at reception seemed to imply that my 65-year-old mother was being dishonest, and he was extremely rude to her. I know staff may have dealt with disrespectful guests who look Asian, but that doesn't mean everyone is trying to scam you. Treating an innocent older woman that way felt deeply disrespectful and racist. How can a four-star hotel provide service like this? Don't take your own misery out on guests. Apart from this incident, my mother said everyone else was kind, and she was happy with her room.

The staff were so welcoming and quick to help, whether with recommendations or anything else we needed. We also had a stylish, comfortable room that was very clean and had thoughtful touches. Le Grey Hotel is in a great spot near cafés and shops, with easy Metro access. We had a wonderful stay in Paris and would gladly come back.

It was quiet when I visited, and I slept well in the good beds. The breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely. One tip if you're heading to the train station in the morning: walking can be quicker than taking a cab because of all the one-way streets.
