Le Lapin Blanc

The room was clean and very nice, and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel felt recently renovated, with an elegant, sophisticated look. We stayed for three nights, and the staff were kind and professional. Special thanks to the woman at reception who checked us in and out, she really went above and beyond. The location is also good, fairly central for getting to Paris landmarks.

Getting around Paris was easy, with bus and train stations just a short walk away. The area itself is charming, full of cafés, shops, and pretty streets. My husband and I spent three nights at Le Lapin Blanc and had a great experience. Service was excellent from beginning to end, and every staff member we met was warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. The stay made our Paris trip even more special, and we’d definitely return.

The front desk staff were the best part of the stay. They were kind, capable, and helpful, always going the extra mile and getting things done. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and they did a great job blocking noise from outside. Noise inside the hotel was another matter, especially in rooms sharing a wall. It also felt stuffy even with the air conditioning running full blast. We tried the basement breakfast once and didn’t go back. It was hot, cramped, and smelled odd. That’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five.

I chose Hotel Le Lapin Blanc again because my previous stay had been good. On November 12-14, 2025, though, construction noise disrupted both days, and on the morning we left, workers were right outside our door covering the floor and painting the walls. What bothered me most was the response. I made several detailed complaints, but management offered no compensation, blamed outside factors, and kept pointing to its policies. They also said I should have raised it during the stay, as if it were reasonable to negotiate for basic standards. No one had warned us about the work beforehand. If I’d known, I would have picked different accommodation in Paris. They acknowledged the disturbance, but the replies felt defensive and amounted to apologies and excuses. I travel often and like to leave positive reviews when a hotel earns them, but this return visit was a letdown. I paid in good faith and got substandard service. The final response was, “We will keep your correspondence on record.” A four-star hotel putting policy ahead of guest satisfaction says a lot about its values. There are plenty of Paris hotels that seem to value their guests more. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Le Lapin Blanc or come back.
