Hôtel Le Mathurin

The family suite with a balcony suited us perfectly. We were four, with two children under 10, and stayed for three nights in July. The hotel is a lovely boutique place in a good spot in Paris, and the front desk staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and wonderful. We didn’t get to try the spa, though it looked like a nice space. Breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of restaurants with different kinds of food a short walk away. We really enjoyed staying at Le Mathurin and highly recommend it.

The hotel’s location was ideal for shopping, restaurants, the metro, and the bus to the airport. We tried the spa and really liked it. Breakfast was great, and Baptiste at reception was especially helpful and had a 10/10 manner. We stayed with a friend and both loved the hotel. Housekeeping was the one area we had to follow up on: we needed to ask for toilet paper, remind them we needed two towels, and ask them to take away the dirty towels and bath mat when bringing clean ones. These were small issues, though. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

We had a comfortable bed and helpful staff at this lovely hotel in a convenient part of the city. The free jacuzzi was enjoyable too. The bathroom needs brighter lighting for doing makeup and some shelf space. There are shelves in the bedroom, but decorative books take them up. At least some of those could be cleared for guests to use.

The location on Rue de Mathurins kept us away from the busiest tourist areas, so the atmosphere felt peaceful and authentically Parisian. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps were still just a short walk away. We also appreciated the upgrade to a newly renovated room, which was modern and very comfortable. From arrival on, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive. They even arranged balloons and macarons as a surprise for my wife, a thoughtful gesture that made the stay unforgettable. We had a wonderful time at Le Mathurin Hotel & Spa and would gladly return. I highly recommend it for a refined, memorable stay in Paris.
