Le Metropolitan Paris Tour Eiffel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The location made it easy to get to major Paris attractions, but the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. I only wish I’d had more than one night in Paris. I was lucky to use a Marriott Bonvoy Suite Upgrade and get an Eiffel View Suite. The view when I woke up was almost hard to believe, and the spacious room was spotless and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. Staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout. Le Metropolitan exceeded my expectations, and I’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Paris hotel.

The pool and sauna were excellent, and the hotel’s location was close to the main sights while still feeling peaceful. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and an almost unbelievably good view of the Eiffel Tower. We also appreciated the little touches. Amran was extraordinary and went well beyond what we expected. The staff in general were warm and helpful, and every interaction felt personal. We had a wonderful stay from beginning to end, and would absolutely come back and recommend the hotel.

I’d return, though I’d skip breakfast and try the Asian Fusion restaurant next time. Breakfast cost 42 euro, which felt overpriced. The buffet was a bit sad, with no fruit salad and only oranges, apples, and pears to peel yourself. They did make eggs to order, and service was okay. The restaurant was closed when I went for an early dinner, but the lounge had a small bar menu and the food was very good. This boutique hotel is on Place de Mexico in the 16th Arr., with a nice neighborhood, food and amenities right outside, and many attractions within walking distance. The male front desk staff were very nice and helpful, especially Sergio, who helped with directions and taxis. I paid the difference to upgrade to a junior suite after being told an upgrade wasn’t possible. I liked the room, though it had no view, the closet layout was odd, and it could have used more furniture for its size. The bed and bathroom were gorgeous, with a large shower and freestanding tub.

The shops, including some great little fromageries, and good restaurants are just a short walk away. It’s also well placed for the Eiffel Tower, museums, and the Metro. This is a lovely small hotel in the 16th, and only a few rooms have views of the Eiffel Tower. If you can book one with a Tower view, it’s well worth it.
