Le Régent Montmartre

I wouldn't recommend staying here, as I think there are better places in Paris. Some staff members were kind, but one manager was extremely rude and another felt quite intimidating. There was a misunderstanding, and I was asked to pay extra to remain at the property, which seemed unfair and inappropriate. My experience was unfortunately negative.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful, and the location was acceptable, though the neighborhood felt a little sketchy. But the shower room was among the least clean and most unpleasant places I've ever seen, with a strong smell that made it difficult to use. The online photos looked great, but the actual place was completely different. I honestly don't know why I booked it. There are plenty of other nearby options where you could have a much better experience.

A comfortable shared kitchen and common area, and a handy location near Montmartre and Anvers metro station, with an easy transfer to CDG. The old room was cute and fit four women, with a big bathroom. There was no soap.

The staff are friendly, and the place seems to work as both a hotel and a hostel. For a few nights in the city center, it's a pretty good affordable choice if all you need is somewhere clean to stay. Rooms feel more like dormitories, and the soundproofing is poor, so it may not suit anyone looking for comfort and private space.
