The location was good, the fan in the room helped, and the service was friendly. I enjoyed the little room during my short stay, though mostly because I wasn't paying for it myself. The bathroom had black mold and a broken shower door, and there was a faulty light and power outlet in the room. Breakfast was very sparse. For the same price in this area, there are probably better options. I'd pick somewhere else if you want more than a roof over your head.

The €15 breakfast was awful: a burnt croissant, questionable coffee, no water at all, and juice that was basically sweet water. Reception was kind and let us into our room two hours early, but one guy seemed desperate to stalk guests on social media. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

I stayed two nights, and the room problems kept getting worse. The first room had a broken mirror, a faulty bath drain, no bath mat despite the obvious slipping risk, peeling stickers on the headboard, and bedside lamps that looked ready to fall. I showed photos to the male receptionist that evening and asked to move. He said there were no other rooms, acted surprised, and claimed he hadn't known about the condition. He told me to return in the morning. A different receptionist gave me a key the next day and told me to inspect another room myself. Its shower was nearly broken. When I showed him a photo, he shrugged, said it couldn't be fixed, and told me there were no other rooms, so I had to use it. That evening the shower broke as soon as I turned it on, and water spilled everywhere, creating another slipping hazard. At checkout I reported it, but the receptionist didn't speak English and wouldn't engage unless I used Google Translate. I explained what had happened and asked for a partial refund, which I believe I'm entitled to under consumer law. He told me to contact the manager. I emailed her right away, called the next day and got no answer, then followed up the day after. I was told she'd return the following week. When I called during her shift, she asked me to forward the email again. I sent it three times and still heard nothing. The rooms are badly maintained, there are safety risks, and the staff were very unprofessional. Believe the bad reviews. I hesitated to book and now wish I hadn't. This was the worst Paris hotel I've stayed in. Avoid it.

A friend booked for our group without checking the reviews, and this turned out to be the worst hotel in Paris. One receptionist was extremely rude. The rooms were tiny, dirty, and in terrible condition. We had no hot water and couldn't shower for three days. Disgusting stay. Book a hostel instead.

The bathroom was surprisingly nice. It was tiny, but the mirror lit up well and the shower was clean. The staff were also really friendly, and the guy at breakfast did his best. Still, we skipped breakfast on our second morning because the dishes were kind of dirty and the cereal dispensers looked well past their best. We went somewhere else for something cleaner and better. The room itself was immediately noticeable for how small it was. The pillows smelled horrible, and we heard another woman complain about them at reception too. Our window wouldn't close properly, one light switch was faulty, and the safe was dusty and locked. We tried opening it several times, but couldn't. It seemed like the previous guests may have left it locked, and the hotel hadn't opened it afterward. The doors had such wide gaps that hallway light came into the room at night. They were thin and had only a tiny lock, which made us feel unsafe. We could hear absolutely everything: people talking, walking and coughing, plus every door opening and closing with a squeak. The guests next door played incredibly loud rap from 23:00 until about 2:00. After that, we could hear their phone conversation, including the person on the other end. If you're a light sleeper and stay here, bring earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones. Paris was hot that weekend, so at first we were glad there was a fan. Then we turned it around and saw it was completely covered in dust. I tried wiping some off, but there was so much inside that I couldn't clean it all. We were travelling with someone who has a dust allergy, so it wasn't usable for us. This was the worst night I've ever had in a hotel.
