Les Appartements Saint James Albany

The pool area was a relaxing spot for a swim between sightseeing, and the location was fantastic. Staff were excellent and friendly. The clean room had a comfortable bed, and by Paris standards it was spacious and well equipped. The room is quite dark, though I didn't mind since I'd take that over a noisy street. The walls are very thin, so you hear people in the hall and talking in other rooms. I'd still book again!

The concierge was a real help, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, with a comfortable king bed and lovely two-level windows looking out onto one of the squares inside the property. There were two bathrooms, one upstairs in the sitting room and one downstairs in the bedroom. A few of the electrical outlets didn't work, and a repair person couldn't fix them. We arrived with a large group, so I didn't rate the welcome, since group arrivals are difficult for everyone. Breakfast was good, with a cappuccino machine, and they'll bring you American coffee if you ask. The hotel is right across from the Louvre and an easy walk from lots of places.

The concierge really stood out, and everyone from arrival through departure was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our family room had plenty of space and was comfortable for four, including our teenage daughters. Housekeeping kept the supplies topped up, and requests like an iron were handled promptly. The hotel is near major sights and historic sites. We'd stay again and recommend it to family and friends visiting Paris. Thanks for making our trip memorable.

We stayed for 11 nights and had no problems. The room was huge, especially by European standards, and the beds and pillows were heavenly. I have a bad back and worried about sleeping, but I slept well every night. We had a two-story junior suite, with a king upstairs and a queen pullout downstairs. My two daughters and I were there last summer, and the staff were always kind and helpful. So many attractions were an easy walk away, and public transportation was close too. It was a lovely stay, and I hope I can go back.
