National strikes meant all travel options into Paris were unavailable, so I had to cancel my stay in their managed apartment on rue de Rennes. I offered to rebook for another date, but the company wasn't interested and is refusing to refund me. They've pocketed a lot of money. It's an appalling way to treat customers. Don't use this company.

The host was helpful without hovering, and the soundproofing was wonderful. With the windows open, you can hear Paris, then shut them and settle into a quiet cocoon. Our apartment even had air conditioning, and Wi-Fi was included. It's a perfect little place for exploring Paris, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. It was immaculately kept. We booked through Airbnb, and found lovely cafes and shops almost next door. Multiple metro stations, shopping, and the Louvre were all a short walk away, even for these old legs.
