Lucien Hotel

A charming boutique hotel with a cozy atmosphere, great rooms, and a convenient location. The staff were warm, and Rashid was great. Excellent value for money, with public transport easily accessible.

I stayed four nights at Lucien with my two kids. It’s good for singles and couples, and not too bad for a small family, though having no breakfast included was a big drawback for us. There was no hot water on day two, but the staff arranged an alternative and had it fixed by the end of the day. They were helpful and engaging. The AC wouldn’t function below 25 degrees, but we managed. Transport links and places to eat were excellent. Overall, good.

A very pleasant stay, and I’ve added this hotel to my list for next time in Paris. It’s very central, about a 20-minute walk from Gare du nord, so you can reach all the sights on foot if you like. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows, and the shower was hot. Free coffee, juice, and croissants in the morning were a nice bonus. I didn’t hear any outside noise at night, which is rare in central Paris. Thank you!

The front desk was warm and helpful, and the room was cleaned daily without us ever feeling disturbed. We also liked the quick breakfast option, especially the coffee, orange juice, and croissants. The little old-fashioned lift is something I'll remember. It seemed odd to hand in our key whenever we went out, but at least we didn't have to worry about losing it. We walked everywhere from here, usually doing 24K-34K steps a day, and never even considered taking the Metro. The Louvre was about 20 minutes away, and the walk along the Seine took around 25 minutes. Sacre Coeur, Mont Martre, Eiffel Tower, and Champs Elysses were all reachable on foot. For Paris, the room was a decent size. The pillows weren't our favorites, and the shower took some care to keep water off the floor, though the pressure was good and the water warmed up quickly. We had a great time, and the price left us more money for other things.
