Maison Armance

We’ve stayed in Paris many times, and Maison Armance has been our favorite by far. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Louvre, with high-end shops around it and Chanel just around the corner. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with a chic mid-century modern design. We stayed in the Cambon Suite, which I believe is their largest. The spacious bedroom had a king bed, and there was a separate small living area with a TV and sofa bed, giving an extra guest their own space. The welcome for my partner’s 8-year-old daughter was especially thoughtful. We got champagne, and she got a coloring book and Le Petit Prince slippers. When we mentioned it was her birthday, staff surprised her with chocolates on the sofa bed, which they’d already pulled out and prepared. The staff were attentive throughout, and the care in those details really stood out. You come through a small courtyard to enter the hotel. It’s being refurbished, so it isn’t at its cutest yet, but we didn’t hear any noise or experience disruption. Reception is on the top floor, reached by a small elevator, and open 24 hours if you need help. The rooms occupy the top three floors, so it’s quiet and has a private, residential feel. We also liked not having to pass the reception desk every time we came and went. It felt like staying in a private Parisian apartment. Everything felt new and carefully put together. We’re big fans and will stay here whenever we’re back in Paris. It really is a HIDDEN GEM.

The rooms were stunning, and the staff were so kind. Everything felt perfect, and the hotel’s location in one of Paris’s most elegant areas was another plus. I highly recommend it!

The room was spacious by Paris standards, and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the hotel, and everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. Thanks to all of them. We hope to see you again on our next trip to Paris.

What stays with me most is how the hotel administrator helped when we needed to call an ambulance. They handled the communication and made a frightening situation much easier for us. I won’t forget that kindness. The rooms were spotless and well kept, and the soundproofing meant we heard nothing from outside or neighboring rooms. Staff were always friendly, respectful, and ready to help. Breakfast was on the small side, but fresh and delicious. The whole place felt calm and safe, like a home away from home. I’ll choose this hotel again when I’m back in Paris.
