Maison du Moulin Vert

I had a memorable, pleasant holiday here. The Garden View Double Room was clean and tidy, and I especially liked the view from the window. Even on my own, I had plenty of space to open a 24-inch suitcase. The bathroom was spacious enough to move around comfortably. The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook: cookware, plates, cutlery, dish soap, a fridge, microwave, and kettle. The metro is about a six-minute walk away. I felt relatively safe and clean at the Metro Line 4 station because it has platform screen doors. Several supermarkets are nearby, and the local buses make it easy to get to major Paris attractions. The water temperature was occasionally a little unstable, the only minor downside. Management responded quickly whenever I contacted them through the booking platform.

The self check-in was easy, and the apartment had everything we needed. Maison du Moulin Vert is beautifully designed and sits on a quiet, lovely street, with metro connections to the main sights. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.

I was left €350 out of pocket and very disappointed with how the hotel handled this. About an hour after checkout I noticed I'd forgotten my jacket, then returned within the next hour. Staff had already put it in the washing machine without asking, and it was completely ruined. At first, I was told by phone that the damage would be fully refunded through Booking.com. Later, I heard the manager was on vacation and the explanation changed. In the end they offered just €50, suggesting it would only be given if we left a positive review. I found that highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I can't recommend this hotel.

The kitchenette was a big reason we picked this place, and it came in handy for meals in and storing perishable food. It had a microwave, mini fridge, toaster, and cutlery. The rooms were clean, modern, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a shower that was a decent size. Maison du Moulin Vert is on a charming street in a generally quiet area, with little road noise, a short walk from the metro and near a few parks. The door codes were easy to use. Checkout time worked well, especially since there was nowhere to leave our luggage. We really enjoyed staying here and would love to return.
