Maison Traversière

The location worked perfectly for us, on a quiet side street with the metro within walking distance. We were here for a birthday weekend and were even chosen as “guest of the day,” with drinks and snacks included, which we really enjoyed. The room was clean and tidy, with a great view, and there were snacks and drinks available. Staff were friendly and helpful, and someone was always at reception. We had no issues and I’d happily recommend this lovely hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of a Paris street. Since this was my first visit to Paris and France, the staff’s kindness and willingness to help with all my questions made the trip feel easy. Shoutout to them and everyone working behind the scenes to create such a welcoming atmosphere. 10 out of 10.

It’s a cute little place on a side street, with lots of nearby shops, cafés, and restaurants. I’ve stayed at a few other hotels around here before, and this one was a nice change. The staff were especially pleasant, the room was clean and tidy, and I had no complaints. They even gave me a pity laugh at my terrible French dad joke: “Why did the French man only eat one egg for breakfast?” “Because one was 'un oeuf'.” It’s also very close to Gare de Lyon, which is a great-looking train station. Lovely stay, thank you.

We were a family of four and spent one night at Maison Traversière, using two rooms. Both were comfortable, clean, and nicely arranged, and the beds were good. The hotel is a short walk from Gare de Lyon, which made things easy for us, and it stayed quiet and peaceful despite being so central. Staff were welcoming and professional, and we enjoyed breakfast too. A very good Paris option for a family wanting a comfortable, calm place in a convenient spot.
