Majestic Apartments Champs Elysées

The pool was unexpectedly closed, which was the one downside, though it wasn’t a big deal. We still enjoyed the hammam and will try the pool next time. Our room was right beside the lift, so it was a little noisy, but we enjoyed the stay overall. This was the second time my sister and I stayed at the Majestic, and we’ll definitely return. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the hotel is just off the Champs Elysée, perfectly placed for everything we needed. Last time we booked a spacious, beautifully designed suite. This time we chose a classic room and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a superior room. It was spacious again, with a huge bathroom. A perfect weekend hotel in Paris, and we’d recommend it.

The location is a real plus, very close to the Champs-Élysées. But there seems to be a shipping or logistics company right across from the hotel, and the noise goes on constantly, day and night, making it hard to rest. I asked reception to move me to another room and am still waiting for management to act. The air conditioning also doesn’t work.

For $600 a night, we were put in a room overlooking the Peninsula’s delivery and loading dock. It’s active around the clock, and the Majestic’s windows don’t seal well. The Peninsula had a “rave,” and the setup and teardown kept us awake for two whole nights. Truly miserable.

We stayed at several hotels while travelling around Europe, and this one was far better than the others. The room was comfortable, everything was very clean, and the staff were helpful. There are lots of great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. I’d stay here again.
