Mandarin Oriental, Paris

This is only about Camélia, the restaurant inside the hotel. Paul greeted my husband and me and managed to get us a last-minute dinner reservation. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. The octopus was tender and full of flavor, the lamb cutlets were perfect, and the spinach, rice, and mashed potatoes were spectacular. If you have dessert, we highly recommend the lime. Thanks, Paul, for being such a wonderful person. We look forward to seeing you again!

I’ve been coming to Camélia for a while, and the cozy but professional service is a big part of why I love it. Maureen, Jussy, and Paul are all delightful, sweet, attentive, and elegant. They’re absolute angels, and it’s always a treat to come by and say hi 🩵 The food is astonishing. I’ve tried different meals and desserts, and I can’t describe how delicious they are. It’s a place to indulge. Everyone is kind, everything is clean, and even the restrooms are exceptionally clean. I’ve never been inconvenienced. What a beautiful team at M.O. Ana greeted us at the front desk on our first day and walked us to a beautifully appointed room filled with rose petals and special treats for our anniversary. She made sure everything was in order and that we had all we needed. Emmanuel brought up our bags, checked that we were set, and even drew us a map of local sights we could walk to after resting from our flight. Housekeeping left thoughtful little touches each day, including a bookmark on the book I’d left on the beatable. Every visit to the front desk was met with pleasant, helpful staff. Emmanuel, the concierge, was a delight, always offering useful information and warm conversation. He was a memorable representative of the hotel and seemed to oversee everything with aplomb. At the entrance, Tony and Alexi welcomed us with bright smiles and took the time to greet us whenever we passed. Breakfast each morning felt homey thanks to Daniel and his efficient team, especially Eliza, who made sure it was just right. In the evening, Helen was a personable server and went above and beyond with wine and pairing suggestions at our delicious dinner. When we left for our flight, Alexi, Yusef, and Faisel helped us into the car with warm smiles and a wave. We remember the staff by name because they made our stay so wonderful, and we’ll remember even those whose names we didn’t learn. We couldn’t have asked for more. The rooms were very spacious by Paris standards and beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help throughout our stay. I spent three nights at the Mandarin Oriental Paris and had an excellent experience from beginning to end. It was a true five-star stay, with comfort, outstanding service, and attention to detail. I’d absolutely stay here again.
