Melia Paris Vendôme

Johanna was the highlight of breakfast service, greeting us with a smile every morning and going out of her way to help. She even arranged a breakfast to go for our early airport trip. The buffet was great, and the chef made fresh, made to order omelettes. We booked Melia Vendome through Costco travel for five nights in Paris. Designer and high end shops surround the hotel, while restaurants and cafes are just a quick walk around the corner. The historic building has some charm, though the rooms could use TLC, especially the stained carpets.

Guillome, the porter, gave us great restaurant tips for the area, and Johanna and Samuel took excellent care of us at breakfast. All three helped make us feel at home. The staff were welcoming and very helpful throughout. It's a classic style hotel in a very central Paris location. The rooms aren't especially spacious, as is typical in Paris, but they were comfortable.

The junior suite was enormous by Paris standards, so upgrading felt worth it. It was clean and looked after, though the room felt a little dated. We also slept well since it was much quieter than most hotels of a similar star rating in the US. Staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast set us up for a full day on foot. The location made getting around easy, with plenty of shops and attractions within walking distance, and the rate was reasonable for a holiday peak period.

Breakfast was the best, and the location was great. The hotel was very clean too. The staff always greeted me with a smile and were happy to answer my questions. Samuel and Johanna were especially kind and fun to chat with, and Ayoub made the best omelets. I had a wonderful time in Paris, and staying at Melia vendome was part of that. I’d definitely recommend it. I was there February 14th-21st. 2026.
