My Maison In Paris - Montmartre

The My Maison team are still my favorite people to stay with. I’ve now tried several of their Paris locations, and each time has been lovely. They were caring and available on WhatsApp whenever I needed them. This visit was a festive-season stopover in the City of Lights. Arrival was smooth, and the apartment was lovely with all the amenities I needed. I also enjoyed morning runs on the Butte Montmartre and found my go-to bakery just a block away.

The apartment was spotless and quiet, with a great bed, furnishings and equipment. It was perfect in every way. I need to stay in this area, so I’ll always try to book here when I visit Paris.

The service was impeccable, and the apartment had everything we could need, plus more. Its location was absolutely perfect. This is the best apartment we’ve stayed in anywhere in Europe, and we’ll definitely come back when we’re in Paris.

The location worked really well for us. The apartment is next to the Moulin Rouge, with three metro stations nearby and easy access to groceries, dining and shops. The street has sex shops and strip clubs if you’re unfamiliar with the area, though none are directly beside the apartment. Most major attractions were 15-20 minutes away by metro, and taxis were easy to get. We were four, and the setup worked: my best friend and her daughter used the bedroom, while my son and I shared the pullout sofa bed. Both the bedroom and living room are quite small, with limited storage, so we lived out of our suitcases. I could easily make the bed and fold the sofa back each day to give the kids space to play. The courtyard view is actually over a restaurant courtyard that stays open until 5am, and it gets loud at night. We all slept through it with the windows closed. The heat and AC were hard to regulate, but opening a window helped. After I called to ask, fans arrived promptly and made things comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the helpful guidebook covered appliance instructions as well as transportation and local information. We’d stay again as a family. It was just right for a small family with one or two kids.
