New Hotel Opera

The rooms are small, but the hotel is modern, clean and very quiet at night. The location is great, with a metro and bus nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There's a pleasant spot downstairs to work if you're working from abroad. The staff are friendly, and the hotel feels recently renovated. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom that's a good size by Paris standards. Nice place in a handy location.

From the balcony, the street view has that classic feel and is a nice touch. The room was new, comfortable and fairly tidy, with a clean vanity, separate shower cubicle and impressively good water pressure. The hotel is just outside the inner Paris area, in a great spot, and reception is staffed 24/7. The confusing part was an extra charge we were asked to pay, I think €18 per person per night, on top of what we'd already paid. They said it was city tax, though I'm not sure whether that's standard at all accommodation.

I stayed in the junior suite with its terrace and liked the quirky, modern design. The balcony view was nice too. It's a charming little renovated hotel, well placed for the metro and lots of tourist sights.
