Nouvel Hotel Eiffel

The rooms are tiny, and with nowhere to put your luggage it’s hard for two people to move around. Soundproofing is nonexistent: you can hear people in the rooms above using the toilet or shower, and conversations from next door. I wasn’t happy with that at all. The staff were very kind and nice, which was the one positive. The price wasn’t high for Paris, but I’m sure there’s somewhere better and quieter for the same money.

The neighborhood has charming restaurants nearby, and there are plenty of attractions within easy walking distance. Our room was very clean and was cleaned to a high standard every day. The hotel staff we met were lovely, really friendly and helpful.

We heard noisy neighbors on a few nights, and the room was a bit small. That’s pretty normal for Paris, though, so it helps to keep expectations realistic. The location was extremely convenient, and room service was excellent.

I never checked in because the hotel’s condition was unacceptable, even though I had already paid. The place looked nothing like its photos, and the tiny lobby smelled bad. Staff still tried to charge me unfairly, but Booking.com confirmed they shouldn’t have. The management was dishonest, and I can’t recommend the hotel. In response to your reply: that account is completely wrong. I left because of the hotel’s poor condition and location, not because of the weather. I wasn’t willing to stay there under those circumstances, even after paying. If weather had really been the problem, why could I check in straight after leaving your property at Adagio Paris Centre Tour Eiffel and enjoy a very pleasant stay there? Maybe it would be better to be a little more realistic.
