March seems like a lovely time to visit, with reduced rates and spring just around the corner. We arrived a little over an hour before closing and still waited in a 10-minute queue, so it’s better to book a ticket ahead. This is a place to pause and take in the serenity within such a mesmerizing, enchanting metropolis.
I didn’t know who the guy on the poster was, so the information about him in the tomb area was pretty interesting to read. The paintings on the walls were cool too, and the building itself is really cool. Definitely worth the €15. You can get in free with an EU passport, but I’d forgotten mine and had to pay. It was still worthwhile.
I never expected to enjoy walking through these buildings as much as I did. They’re so amazing and grand, with a lot to explore and experience. It was great, and something I’ll never forget.
I didn’t go inside, but the Panthéon was still worth a short stop while walking around Paris. Its big columns and simple design look impressive from outside, and the nearby area feels calm beside some of the city’s busier spots.
We came across Place du Panthéon after dinner one night, and seeing it lit up was unforgettable. The architecture and grandeur looked stunning. I wish we’d set aside a full day to explore it in daylight and take in the details. It’s a must-see in Paris, whether you pass by in the evening or spend time there during the day.
