They advertised tickets for opening night and paid influencer pages to promote the club, then turned away most of the people waiting in line, including people with tickets. The place inside seemed small, and it felt like they were deliberately letting a few people in while rejecting most of the crowd. Go to an established club instead. This was nonsense.
They gathered people outside and left us waiting in the cold, then turned people away for different reasons without cause. They’re acting inclusive and welcoming, but that wasn’t our experience. I don’t mind being refused entry, but at least give a proper reason. Being told, “we can’t accommodate group of 5 people today,” was ridiculous.
Same as the other comments here. I went tonight with a friend and they refused us straight away without even looking at our tickets. Someone who personally knew the performing artist had gifted us those tickets. It was super rude, and it felt racist when the couple who did get let in were white and their tickets weren’t checked. Wouldn’t recommend.
I had a great time. All my friends got in without any trouble, the club looks super fresh, and the staff were lovely the whole time. I’ll definitely be back.
They hand out free tickets, then turn people away without knowing how to handle the crowd. Bad marketing, and a disappointing first day.
