We stayed at Hotel Mercedes on our first trip to Paris, and opening the room door is one of the memories that'll stick with me. The room was beyond amazing. From the top floor, we had wonderful views over the Paris rooftops, with La Defense in the distance. The Arc and Eiffel Tower are a pleasant walk away, and La Defense is worth visiting too. The location is great, with the Metro a short walk away, a lovely patisserie across the street, a good mini supermarket nearby, and plenty of bars and restaurants. I can't wait to come back to this beautiful city, and I'd absolutely stay at Hotel Mercedes again.
Wagram was a lovely, peaceful place to come back to after a long day in Paris. We enjoyed walking around, with coffee shops and bars along the way for coffee, red wine, and cheese. The Eiffel Tower was a 50-minute walk and Montmartre about 45 minutes. There are fabulous French restaurants within easy reach too. Our fifth-floor room, number 550, was very spacious, and the beds were large and comfortable. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. It was a perfect choice for our weekend, and I highly recommend it.
We had a really lovely stay, and the hotel's interior was a 10. The staff were super friendly. The location was perfect, in a lovely neighbourhood and close to the subway. It was great that checkout was at noon and we could leave our luggage there for our last day. I'll be back.
The busy road outside can keep you awake if you're not used to traffic noise. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a lovely Art Deco feel and was comfortable and very clean. There are local restaurants and cafes close by, along with a Metro station and bus stops, all an easy walk away. The supermarket is right next door. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe and the top of the Champs Elysee.
The staff were friendly and reception service was good. The hotel has an Art Deco style, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was quite a lot of noise from outside early in the morning, though, so the windows seem thin.
