The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a lovely neighborhood cafe view through the windows. After long days out, the luxurious bed was just right, and the bathroom had a rainfall shower. We also really enjoyed the private spa, especially the jacuzzi and sauna, and the optional breakfast was delicious, convenient and offered plenty of variety. Our honeymoon plans at Hôtel Philéas came together unexpectedly after our original hotel booking was cancelled because of emergency renovations. The concierge worked with the wonderful team at Hôtel Philéas to arrange everything at the last minute. We didn't have to handle a thing, and the staff looked after us with care and professionalism. They even upgraded our stay beyond what we'd imagined. Their hospitality made our honeymoon one we'll always remember. The hotel is centrally located near a major train station, a huge shopping district, lots of excellent restaurants and lively nightlife. The famous Moulin Rouge and charming Montemartre neighborhood are a short walk away, with plenty to see close by. As Americans visiting Paris for the first time, we feel very lucky to have stayed here. We'd happily come back.

The free gym was a highlight for me. It's small and simple, but clean and good for a quick workout. I was also offered two private spa sessions with a jacuzzi and hammam. The first was just right and the jacuzzi was warm; in the second, the water was a bit cold and the controls were tricky. I spent six nights at Hôtel Phileas. My room was a little old, but clean enough and spacious by Paris hotel standards. The reception team were friendly, helpful and available whenever I needed them. Drinks are available around the clock, and they offer snacks in the afternoon, a nice extra. The location beside Saint Lazare station made getting around Paris easy. The area can be noisy, though being on the top floor meant it was relatively fine. It was a very pleasant stay, with great service and lots of thoughtful touches.

Hôtel Phileas Lazare & Spa has become our favorite place to stay in Paris. My best friend and I have already been twice this year, and we're coming back soon. The staff are great and always willing to help. The lobby and rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with travel themed details that suit the hotel's name and concept, especially the XXL room. It's also very conveniently placed, with metro and RER stations nearby and the Grands magasins and shopping streets just a short walk away. There are several lovely Chinese restaurants right behind the hotel on rue de Budapest. We love it here.

We spent six nights at Hôtel Phileas Lazare & Spa – Paris Opéra and were very happy with our stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and did all they could to make us comfortable. A special thanks to Azzedine for his kind, professional service. The breakfast was extremely tasty and had lots of variety. The hotel is a 4-star property in a fantastic spot, close to everything, including Saint-Lazare metro and train station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a Turkish halal place right next door with delicious food.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious for Paris and nicely furnished, with toiletries of great quality. Saint Lazare station is right nearby, making it easy both to explore Paris and get to Versailles. Highly recommend.
