My room felt like my own Parisian studio for the four days I was there. It was clean and beautifully decorated, with a rain shower. The team made me feel welcome and were really helpful. The Platine has a great 50s feel without tipping into kitsch. It’s close to restaurants and an easy walk from two metro stations. You can also walk along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower in about 20 minutes. I’d stay again without hesitation.

We were very pleased to get an upgrade. The room was perfect, clean, and in a great location. Highly recommend.

The Marylin Monroe theme is a big part of why I love this hotel. It’s fairly close to the Eiffel Tower, and the new shopping centre next door is really handy.

2/10
For over $500 CAD a night, this was a very disappointing stay. I spent three nights here with high expectations for a 4 star hotel in Paris, but the towels weren’t changed until I asked at the front desk. We were given sheets and had to make the bed ourselves. There was also a ceiling leak dripping onto the toilet. I disagree with the 4 star rating and would advise avoiding this hotel.

8/10
The location is a little quiet around the hotel. Our first room had a shower that barely worked, and the spa is extremely tiny, though it did what we needed and warmed us up after a cold day outside. The staff were very helpful and moved us to another room. Breakfast was really nice and stayed fresh right up to the last minutes.
