Hôtel Plaza Etoile

Our third-floor double had a king bed, a queen sofa bed, and a view of the ARC. It’s a smaller hotel, but highly recommended, and we’ll return. The location is great, within sight of the Arc and close to the metro, bus, and Hop On/Hop Off Bus stop. Breakfast was included, with a good, well-stocked spread. The staff were friendly and eager to please.

The location and staff were amazing, but the room was very small and noisy at night. For the price, I expected a better room. I asked for a bigger one, but was told none were available.

The location was top notch, and the reception staff were kind and helpful. But our first room was so small there was no space for our luggage, and the pillows smelled bad and were dirty. Noise from other rooms came through loudly, as if there were no separation between them. There was no room service for things we needed. If something was missing from the minibar, like a coffee capsule, we had to go down to reception and get it ourselves. Nobody from the hotel brought laundry or other missing items up to the room.

A real gem in the middle of everything, next to the Arc de Triomphe and the subway. The staff speak English, which is a must-have for me, after all, it isn’t Vienna. Highly recommend!
