Hôtel Le Relais Saint Charles

The bed and bedding were lovely, and the hotel was super clean. The bathroom had everything we needed, and the shower was great. There was also tea, coffee, and a kettle. The staff we met were lovely. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a comfortable stay, and the people working at reception and looking after the rooms were great. The hotel itself was very good, with everything else excellent. The one thing to improve is breakfast: it was the same every day.

The location was nice, around a 10-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean, with a decent-sized room that had a fridge and kettle, plus a good-sized, spotless bathroom. Unfortunately, our room’s toilet wasn’t working. The hotel was full, so we couldn’t move rooms. They offered us breakfast at no charge, but having no toilet was obviously inconvenient.

We found the room very spacious and well soundproofed. With the windows shut, we couldn’t hear the metro at all. The tricky part was getting the lights to work: every time we came in, it took three or four minutes to insert the card and find the “perfect spot.” The receptionist suggested pressing the button when the small light came on, but the problem continued. Since we were only there for one night, we didn’t follow up. The hotel is conveniently close to the Eiffel Tower, which you can walk to or reach by taking the metro one stop. They’ll also keep your suitcases after checkout if you want to explore a bit before traveling home.
