Caroline gave us a lovely welcome and let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The room was compact, but cozy and cleverly arranged with everything we needed. It was spotless and cleaned every day, and breakfast was tasty and filling. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Paris with public transport close by. We’d gladly stay again next time.

Breakfast was included and really good: fresh croissants and baguette, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and fresh orange juice. Our comfortable room had its own bathroom, and the ultra-modern shower came with a divine choice of shower gel. Caroline was happy to help with any questions. The place is close to La Bastille, cafes, the metro, and a grocery store just around the corner. Our window faced the street, but nights were pretty quiet. In daytime we were out, and the traffic was mostly bicycles with only the occasional car. Highly recommend La Maison de Léa.

The nighttime noise is the main drawback: motorcycles, cars, loud music, yelling, then more motorcycles. Bring earplugs if you want a good night's sleep. With only the window for fresh air, the room gets hot and stuffy. Even so, I’d return. It’s a pleasant B&B, decorated in a cool, modern way. The owner is sweet and attentive, and you can walk to lots of key places, with plenty of good food nearby.

Caroline runs this lovely B&B near Bastille and lively Rue Daval. She’s very friendly and helpful. Our street-facing room, just off the breakfast room, was spacious, immaculate, and nicely presented, without too much noise. The bathroom was a standout, with a fun 6-rose shower, pebble-shaped taps, and other clever design details. The underfloor heating felt great. There was a hairdryer in the room too.

Caroline was a wonderful host, with useful tips for nearby restaurants and sightseeing around Paris. The home has been beautifully renovated, with three tastefully decorated rooms and amazing bathrooms. A typical, tasty continental breakfast is included. It’s in the 11th arrondissement, close to Place de la Bastille and several Métro stations.
