Hôtel des Arts Cité Bergère

There are loads of restaurants within an easy walk, and we thought the location was exceptional. Our two bedroom apartment was as advertised: clean, comfortable, safe and functional, though not luxurious. The one drawback was the lack of an elevator. We were on the fourth floor, which made handling luggage a bit painful. We'd stay again.

We only booked an hour before arriving, and the space turned out to be incredible. Jose at the lobby and front desk was warm and welcoming, and was around to answer the few questions we had. The place was beautiful and accommodating, in a good area of paris. It made for a great stay, and I'd highly recommend it. Thanks, Jose!

Jose met us when we arrived early and checked whether our apartment was ready. It had already been cleaned, so he let us go straight in instead of just dropping off our suitcase. He showed us how everything worked and made it clear we could contact him whenever we needed anything. He was incredibly professional. Our first floor apartment faced the courtyard, so it was quiet at night. It was spacious and spotless, and the beds, including the sofa bed, were comfortable. With a dishwasher and washing machine, we had a lot more freedom than in a hotel. I could pick up fresh croissants and bread for family breakfast at a fraction of what we'd spend in a cafe. The location was much better than anywhere we've stayed in Paris before. Within a three minute walk we had the metro, supermarkets, boulangeries and plenty of excellent restaurants serving amazing food at very reasonable prices. This felt like an area where locals eat, unlike the mostly expensive tourist trap places in the centre, where food is often mediocre. I can't imagine staying elsewhere on my next Paris trip. After this experience, I'll be visiting more often.

Our family stay was wonderful, with perfect evenings throughout. Thanks to the reception staff for the help and such a warm welcome. When I come to Paris again, I'd love to return to this beautiful place.
