The front desk staff were friendly, and the rooftop bar is worth checking out. We picked the Classic Guest Room with 1 Queen and a Sacre-Coeur view, which I'd recommend. The room was fairly small, as you'd expect from most boutique hotels, so if you go in expecting that, you'll be fine. We chose charm over high-end, and loved this boutique hotel as a base for exploring the Montmartre area.
The view of Montmartre was beautiful, and the location in the heart of the city made it easy to get everywhere. We had a wonderful stay, one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The breakfast buffet and dinner menu were excellent, with plenty to choose from. Every staff member we met was kind and welcoming, and the managers were great. Mr John was especially helpful, down-to-earth, and genuinely caring. Everyone speaks English, so communication was easy, and the politeness and professionalism stood out. There are lifts, spacious and comfortable rooms, and 24/7 room service, all of which made things convenient. A special mention for Mr mayore, the restaurant barista, whose cappuccino was outstanding, and the other lady girl! We'll definitely stay here again when we visit Paris. Five out of five, and honestly even more for such a memorable, delightful stay. One of the best places to stay in Paris.
We stayed in a top-floor suite with a stunning view of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica above the Paris rooftops. It was comfortable for two, with a large bed, stylish interior, and a wonderful atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is another big plus, with panoramic views that include the Eiffel Tower. In the evenings the rooftop bar opens, and watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle after dark with a drink in hand is unforgettable. This is a beautiful, atmospheric building with the feel of artistic Paris, close to Montmartre and practically next to a metro station, so getting around is easy. The breakfasts were excellent, with sweet and savory choices, and the staff were kind and helpful. If you want a place with character and soul rather than a generic modern hotel, I'd highly recommend it.
Our eighth-floor room had breathtaking views of the Sacre Coeur Basilica and the Eiffel Tower. The restaurant, Maggie, served amazing food, and reception were always helpful and pleasant, accommodating every request. The hotel feels quaint and sits in an authentic Parisian area that isn't touristy.
Inspired by the 1920s and 30s, The Hotel Rochechouart has a glamorous yet cozy feel, with decor that suits its Monmartre setting. The restaurant serves delicious, high-quality dishes, with a very decent wine selection. The rooftop bar probably has one of the best hotel views in Paris. You can see the Sacré-Coeur nearby, as well as the Eiffel tower, the Louvre, and Musée D’Orsay. I'll certainly stay here again.
