Hotel Saint Christophe

It's very central, and the rooms are nice, clean and in good working order. They're on the small side, but that's normal for this location. Service was very nice, and I could leave my luggage in a dedicated locked room before my flight.

This charming little hotel is in a lovely neighborhood, with cafes nearby and two Carrefour's within five minutes for snacks. There are also cash machines close by. My small fifth-floor room was cozy, stylish, quiet and clean, though it had no tea or coffee. Le Jardin des Plantes is very close, an incredible botanical treasure with so much to see. The nearby Grand Mosque is beautiful and well worth a visit. PS Bibie down the road looks stunning as a cocktail bar!

I liked the corner room, with two windows and a pleasant view. It was small, as Paris hotel rooms usually are, but not too small. Everything was in great shape and seemed new, especially the bathroom, which was large for a Paris hotel and had a great shower. The staff were friendly, and the reception area was pleasant. The location is very good, close to Rue Mouffetard, Place de la Contrescarpe, two Metro stations, Jardin de Plantes and lots of Quartier Latin attractions. I did miss having the usual coffee and tea in the room, though coffee is available in the lobby. The other advantages more than made up for it. Breakfast was typical for a small Paris hotel, served in a basement room with no windows.

The neighborhood felt safe, and the location was very convenient, with the metro within walking distance and nice coffee shops nearby. The rooms were clean, and the fruit candies at reception were tasty.
