Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel Hotel

In May 2026, our party booked four rooms, and this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The quality and service were unacceptable. I was first given room 214, which reeked of cigarette smoke under a heavy layer of cologne. The front desk apologized and said the hotel was fully booked. But as soon as I asked them to cancel so I could find somewhere else, the agent spoke to a manager and suddenly another room was available. The replacement wasn’t any better. Paris was in a major heatwave, with daytime temperatures up to 95°F, and the air conditioning didn’t work at all. The room was dated, dirty, and poorly maintained. The carpet was stained and full of crumbs, there was visible mold on the walls from what looked like a leak, and the shower drain was completely blocked. The front desk wouldn’t offer a reasonable fix when I raised this. I said outright that I was willing to leave and find another place if they would cancel the rest of my stay, but they refused. Between the poor cleanliness, broken amenities, and stubborn customer service, it’s absolutely not worth the money. Avoid this hotel.

The Concierge and Guest Relations teams were excellent, and the whole staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive during my visit. Enzo, Clement, Yousef, and Jamal all helped make the stay memorable. Special thanks to Yousef for his remarkable hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism. He went above and beyond to make the experience feel perfect. Highly recommended, and I hope to come back.

The beds were divine, the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, and the pillow menu was a thoughtful touch that helped us get the best rest after long days exploring Paris. The hotel is elegant and ideally located, with everything you’d hope for in a luxury Paris stay. Throughout our visit, everyone on staff went out of their way to help, always with a smile and impeccable service. From the moment we arrived at the Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel, we felt genuinely welcome. The service stayed warm, attentive, and professional throughout. We couldn’t fault a thing, highly recommend it, and can’t wait to return.

We had breakfast at the hotel both mornings, and it was absolutely delicious. The rooms were large and comfortable, the hospitality was amazing, and the staff were attentive and wonderful. It’s a short walk to the Eiffel Tower with plenty of places to eat nearby. My mom had a lovely stay at Sofitel in Paris for her birthday. There were balloons when we arrived, and because we booked through Chase Travel, a complimentary bottle of red wine too. Highly recommend!
