The central location is a plus, and the entrance looks like other hotels in the same chain. But the room wasn't cleaned properly, and the bathroom sink was blocked. The small room did have AC. Breakfast was the worst I've had in France, just store-bought croissants. I wouldn't come back for this price.
We left early, but management refused to refund the two unused nights. They charge the full stay up front, so beware. We found much better options nearby, and I don't recommend this place. We'd booked three nights and made clear that one of us uses a wheelchair. We were told not to worry because there was a lift. On arrival, there was no ramp into the lobby, the lift was too small for a wheelchair, and the bathroom door in our room was too narrow for one to pass. The customer service was horrible.
The balcony was a nice touch, and the attendant in the breakfast room was wonderful. I booked it as a safe, central place to stay in Paris, and it delivered. I'd stay again. There were some annoyances: the elevator was tiny and barely fit two people with luggage, and the key process felt insecure. We had to leave our room key at the desk when going out, and anyone could get it back just by giving the room number, with no check. Our room was small, and the badly fitted half wall by the bathtub left water all over the floor after each shower. All the TV channels were in French. It's a lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location.
The bed was the main problem. My back hurt after the first night, and it got worse each night after that. The location near Arc de Triumph is fine, and the small hotel and room were quite okay. The bathroom was okay too. Breakfast wasn't bad, though I can imagine better. There were only two power sockets in the room, and just one worked, so the place could use some maintenance.
Our room was at the back, clean and tidy, with a good shower. It also had a bath, but it was small and not ideal for a tall person. Breakfast was continental on both mornings, tasty and filling, with cooked food available for an extra charge. The location in Paris couldn't have been better. The staff were very friendly, and since it's not a large hotel, they took the time to remember our names. I booked through secret escapes and chose the romance upgrade. The bed was decorated with rose petals, and there was champagne and chocolate. I'd recommend this hotel.
