Hôtel Sunny

Avoid this place. I found what looked like a bed bug on the pillow and showed it to staff. They said, “that’s not a bed bug,” then brushed it onto the floor. They offered another room, but I turned it down because I no longer trusted the hygiene. Seeing a bug on arrival could point to a deeper infestation. I asked for a refund and was told “ok,” but they later refused to honor that and charged me for the full stay. When I called, they wouldn't fix it.

For the price of a Paris hotel, this felt like good value. During my three-day stay, the room was tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Buses are easy to reach, Les Gobelins metro is a short walk away, and the area has plenty of cafés and restaurants. The room and toilet are on the small side, and the twin beds kept rolling apart. I could also hear noise from neighboring rooms at times, which made things less comfortable.

We appreciated being able to leave our bags for a couple of hours after checkout and explore while waiting for the train. The reception staff were very friendly, and the room was cozy and clean. It was small, but enough for the two of us. There's a metro station nearby, and the Panthéon is about a thirty-minute walk away. For a reasonable price, we had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it to friends.

An older Parisian building on a busy street, and the room was small. Still, the room was spotless, with no dust, dirt, or mold, and the staff were exceptionally polite and accommodating. It's centrally located, and for the price compared with the quality, fair enough.
