Familia Hotel

For the price, it’s a great hotel, and I’d stay there again on another Paris visit. The metro nearby made getting around easy. The rooms were quite good and fairly clean. Staff were professional enough, though not especially warm or friendly as some people say. Still, there weren’t any major problems.

The location is spectacular, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, including Eric Kayser, and easy access to the Metro. At Familia Hotel, the staff were kind and professional. My room was small but laid out efficiently and had everything I needed. I’d happily stay here again for a business trip.

I’ve never written a review before, but the way the staff helped me really deserved one. The room was beautiful and the location was amazing. I left my ballet flats behind, and they boxed them up without hesitation and arranged for UPS to collect them. The shoes made it to my home in the US in just a week. Thanks, Familia Hotel, for being so kind.

Our room flooded, and then we were moved to a non-deluxe room that had a much better view than the one we’d paid extra for. It had a renovated, modern bathroom too. Staff had told us no such room was available, so it felt like they’d lied right to our faces and didn’t care. Before that, our deluxe room was badly outdated and had no view, despite our request. The rooms don’t look like the website photos and seem misrepresented. Staff were incredibly rude and dismissive, with little interest in giving guests proper service. This was the worst travel experience I’ve had, and it made our time in Paris very unpleasant. I’d avoid the hotel and its staff.
