The Westin Paris-Vendome

The morning Réception was excellent, and breakfast was very good. Our rooms were decent, though a little tired and not very clean. We arrived shortly after midnight and found no one at reception, so we called the official number and someone came out. The first room we were shown was occupied. The next had two single beds instead of one king, but after another change everything was fine and we got a beautiful Eiffel Tower view. Thanks for that. In my opinion, the night auditor on March 15 needs to improve: he didn’t seem to know the hotel or its room types, and wasn’t professional or welcoming.

The Westin is right in the Vendôme district, handy for a shopping trip and close to the top luxury brands. But what made the stay memorable was the staff. Everyone, from the entrance team to reception and room service, was warm, professional, and attentive from arrival to departure. Tonia at reception deserves a special thank you for her kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere and service made this feel like a real home away from home. I’ve decided I’ll stay at the Westin whenever I visit Paris, and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and great hospitality.

Place Vendôme has been tied to so many of our family memories in Paris, and The Westin Vendôme will always mean a lot to us. Our first visit was in December 2015, and since then Paris has become our favorite city to visit each summer. We’ve stayed in everything from standard rooms to Junior Suites and Royal Suites, and each one gave us its own memories and charm. The location is a real highlight, with design houses, signature stores, restaurants, and cafes just steps away. The Louvre and the Tuileries Garden are within walking distance too. We wish the site every success through its renovation and rebranding.

We had a junior suite with comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom, and everything was clean. Breakfast was very good too. The rooms with a view are worth choosing if you’re not planning to rush off and see everything in one go. Mohammed and the other reception staff were attentive and really accommodating. The concierge also found fantastic restaurants and made reservations that suited us. You can reach major and smaller attractions and the metro easily, though the airport and cab rides are another matter. Best suited to people who don’t mind walking a bit. There are Asian places to eat nearby, along with good French restaurants.
