4/10
The breakfast was the best part, and the culinary staff were very sweet and polite, even though their English wasn’t very strong. The room was decent, with working heating, a nice shower, and complimentary items, though it had a few chips and marks on the walls. It didn’t look like the photos, though that may have been the room we got. We couldn’t get lift access to our first floor room, which was disappointing because my sister has slight mobility issues. Staff were somewhat friendly for the most part. The location near Gare du Nord felt like a presumably rough area, so I’d give that one star, bringing my average to two. Update: the company response is completely dishonest. There was no room change, and staff did NOT help my bulimic sister carry her luggage or mine. I won’t be changing my review for that reason.

The location is great, across from the main train station and all the subway connections. Staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, though small. The bathtub is very, very small, and so is the elevator.

The room was dusty enough to set off constant sneezing, and we found bed bugs, dirty bedding, and a stained mattress. I raised the cleanliness problems with the receptionist, who only said she’d take note. That’s unacceptable, hygiene should be a priority. My mother and I booked a weekend getaway, but the rough area and noise outside kept us awake all night. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I’m coming back. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and big enough, and the staff are friendly and professional. The location is the best in Paris, right next to gare de l’est, so you can get anywhere in no time. Bestes Restaurant in Paris! Merci!!

The staff were perfect, really kind from beginning to end. It’s a nice, hospitable hotel, close to public transport, and the rooms are amazing.
