We were three friends staying in a small room, but it was spotless and the WiFi was strong enough for streaming and planning our travels without any problems. The location by Montparnasse was excellent, with cafés, bakeries, and metro stops all around. The staff were patient, kind, and accommodating even though none of us spoke French. We were caught off guard by an extra tourist tax of around 700 MXN at check-in, so we learned to check European hotel taxes ahead of time. Smoking is allowed out front, but not inside. The place has that cozy, efficient French hotel character. It’s a good fit if you care more about location, cleanliness, and friendly service than room size. I’d happily stay again, maybe with a smaller suitcase next time!

The staff were really kind, but the room had an extremely bad smell, like someone had emptied a whole bottle of some pine scented stuff. The WiFi didn’t work, and neither did the soap dispenser. The nearby shopping center seemed dead, and the hotel’s own review application was buggy.

I only stayed one night, so it was okay for that. The hotel is near the train station, and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the small room. The window looked out onto a residential building. My toilet was dirty when I arrived, though the shower had body wash and shampoo. Breakfast was basic, with omelette, bacon, and croissants, and not a lot to choose from.

We were happy with our stay in the large family room on the top floor. It was clean and quiet.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It was tiny, sticky, and dirty, including the carpeting. The staff were miserable, rude, and unhelpful. When I asked for an iron, they got very angry, then took four hours to find one. After that, they removed it from my room without telling me. Impossible staff.
