There was jazz music playing nightly right below the rooms, and the pictures in the advertisement were completely different from what we found. We were there for four nights and the room wasn't cleaned at all. The bathroom latch was broken, and I got locked inside on the first morning. We were told breakfast was included, but none was provided. Apparently we're promised a refund for that. On the second-to-last night, someone knocked at our door at 1:40 am. A family hadn't been given the codes for the building or their room. Luckily, the French guard let them into the building. It's across from the Israeli consulate, with French military guards on duty 24/7, and somehow they knew the code. My husband helped them figure out a room code after we were kept up for an hour. At least we could give them a contact number in the morning. Find somewhere else to stay. Something feels off with this place, which isn't really a hotel.

Hygiene could be much better, and the air conditioners don't seem to be maintained, which raises health concerns. They make a noise every minute, so getting a good night's sleep is impossible. This issue was reported a year ago too, and still nothing has been done. The mismanagement is awful, and I can only advise against booking here. Paris has plenty of nice things to do, but starting your day exhausted is horrible. If you're considering this hotel, pick another one in the area where you'll get proper service and a clean room.

I asked for a refund and was offered another stay without air conditioning, in the middle of a heatwave. That sounds like a bad joke. The curtains were hanging loose, an issue already noted in 2024 and still not fixed in 2025. The air conditioning makes an absurd noise about every 45 seconds, in the room and central area, and I could hear it from other rooms too. They put earplugs in the room instead of fixing it. I had the same issue in August 2024, and reviews mention it going back to at least 2023. It makes me wonder whether the air conditioning is healthy, since it seems never to be cleaned or maintained. The property lacks basic comfort, and someone should investigate whether it should be rented out at all.

Our “city view” room faced a courtyard and drainpipe, and the room was dirty, with hair in the bed, unclean floors, and empty soap containers. Cigarette smoke from other guests came into our room despite the supposed non-smoking policy. Breakfast was canceled at the last minute because of “new management,” after it was too late to cancel our booking. The hotel promised to refund the breakfast charge, but I never received it. Attempts to get a proper reply were met with silence or copy-and-paste responses. No accountability, apology, or resolution. I booked based on the advertised breakfast, city views, and clean, comfortable rooms, and got none of them. This place cares about bookings, not guests. Book elsewhere.

I'm writing this from bed while the loud Jazz Club music is keeping me awake. The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was good, but those were the two most important things for us and the music ruined the stay. Without a decent night's rest, being in Paris feels pointless. Maybe weekdays are different, but don't stay on the weekend. You won't recover from a day of activities in Paris. The noise is horrible, and this place isn't worth staying at.
