Trendy Canettes Hotel

The location is excellent, and the staff are really friendly. The hotel has been newly renovated, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. My room was very clean, with housekeeping every day. It matched the Booking.com description and photos perfectly. Don't hesitate to book! 😊

The rooms were clean and the location was good, but that couldn't make up for the noise. I was on the first floor and had to listen to loud live music from the neighboring bars until 3am. I tried earbuds and sleep sounds on my phone, but they couldn't drown out the noise and vibrations. I finally fell asleep around 330am, then woke up at about 6am because our room was right beside reception and the breakfast bar. Do not stay here!!!!!!

The location was good and the place was clean, but for what we paid it was expensive and not worth it. The rooms were tiny, with nowhere to put suitcases. Anyone staying should avoid bringing luggage. Our booking through booking.com didn't mention that the one tiny elevator was on the 1st floor. We had to carry our cases up a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Our room was on the very top floor in the dormer, so there was another spiral staircase and no elevator there either. Nobody helped with the bags. They provide ear plugs, which tells you something. There were 24-hour bars next door, with people shouting and laughing until 3 am, so getting a good night's sleep was very difficult.

We stayed 3 nights with 3 people, and it was amazing value for the price. The neighborhood is lively, the staff were helpful and understanding, and the hotel felt really safe despite being right in the city center. Most monuments are within walking distance, depending on how much you like walking. It does get loud at night, especially on weekends, but that's a tradeoff I'm willing to make for a clean, centrally located hotel. The rooms could be a little bigger, and might not be very comfortable for plus size people.
